Unlike standard x-rays, it allows us to measure the bone depth, width, density and condition of your jawbone when necessary and the location of important structures such as nerve and blood canals or the sinuses ingreat detail. We use 2D and 3D images either as a preventive screening or as a part of the treatment planning .
